How to Interview..

This is the question that people have pondered for centuries… OK, well not really.  On this page you will learn some important information to help you have the best interview possible and how the on campus Career Center can help you.

Step one to an amazing interview - Resume.  In order to get an interview you have to grab the attention of your future employer with an intriguing resume.  To learn more on how to write a resume, check out our How to Write a Resume Page.

Step two in preparation for an interview is practice, Practice, PRACTICE.  If you are on campus, the Career Center can help. We offer Mock Interviews and Perfect Interview Program.  Perfect Interview is an exciting software programs that allows you to complete a video mock interview then go back and watch it.  This is pivotal because you get to see how you look during an interview, identifying areas that need attention.

If you are not on campus, we have a list of sample interview questions to help you prepare for your interview.  So go find a friend to help you prepare.

Step three is dressing for the Interview.  On this page, How to Dress for an Interview page, which is COMING SOON you will learn how to dress for an interview. You'll also learn what the different categories of dress are so you can dress appriopately for your first day of work at the business casual office.

Step four is Tips and Tricks for those of you that still do not feel ready for the interview.  This page is full of some quick tips to help you in your interview. Tip #1- Do NOT chew gum in an interview.  Ladies and Gents, spit it out!
